How the salary-to-hourly math works
Hourly rate = annual salary ÷ paid hours per year. Paid hours per year = hours per week × weeks per year. A standard full-time schedule is 40 × 52 = 2,080 hours, so $52,000 ÷ 2,080 = $25/hour.

Why use SalaryHourly?
- Two-way — contractors can go hourly → annual; employees go salary → hourly to compare offers.
- Any schedule — set your real hours per week and paid weeks per year for part-time or contract math.
- Private — salary figures are sensitive. They are calculated in your browser and never submitted anywhere.
